Background

I am a seasoned operator and former investor specializing in early-stage startups. My career is defined by a unique blend of venture capital insight and hands-on operational expertise.

My journey began in the investment world, starting with fixed income investing at Manulife Financial, a top ten insurance company in the world. I then moved into venture capital, focusing on deploying funds into seed to Series B companies at Impression Ventures. My career then pivoted to the operational frontlines at Cable, where as the first business hire in Business Operations. I oversaw finance, launched the revenue operations function, secured SOC 2 Type I & II compliance, and supported the $11M Series A fundraise.

Currently, I serve as Senior Manager of Business Operations at Fig Financial, a subsidiary of Fairstone Bank, Canada’s leading alternative lender. I project manage cross-functional initiatives and lead with a focus on operational excellence. I lead high-impact, cross-functional projects that directly drive company-wide OKRs, leveraging expertise in process automation, GPT-driven workflows, and internal documentation.
