Background

I am a business operator and former investor with deep experience scaling early-stage startups. My work combines strategic finance, operational excellence, and automation to build systems that help companies grow faster and operate smarter.

I began my career in institutional investing at Manulife Financial, one of the world’s top ten life insurance companies, where I focused on fixed income strategies and portfolio performance. I later joined Impression Ventures, investing in Seed to Series B fintech companies and working closely with founders on strategic projects.

My path then shifted to startup operations at Cable, a compliance platform serving fintechs and partner banks. I built the Business Operations function from zero - leading finance, launching Revenue Operations, achieving SOC 2 Type I & II compliance, and supporting an $11M Series A raise.

Today, I serve as Senior Manager of Business Operations at Fig Financial (a subsidiary of Fairstone Bank, Canada’s leading alternative lender). I lead cross-functional initiatives that drive company-wide OKRs, optimize internal systems, and deliver measurable results through AI- and automation-led processes.
